Otago peninsula, Dunedin

We arrived in Dunedin from Moeraki at lunch today, and after settling in to our BNB we set off to explore the Otago peninsula.

Dunedin is the most beautiful city, and from the hills of the Peninsula suburbs it looks magical.

The Otago peninsula is a mountainous verdant green sheep farming area, with outstanding opportunities to see albatross, yellow eyed penguins, blue penguins, and seals.

Today we simply took a long walk to the viewpoints of lovers leap and the chasm, about 3km of walking around on the hills amongst the sheep.

The views are simply stunning.
