We have left Italy and travelled to the Pyrennees-Orientales region of France, staying at St Jean Plas de corts, which is very near Ceret.
I have been looking at properties which could be used to paint in, and run a studio, and sell art work from.
We have seen a nice property in the main street in Ceret, close to the museum of modern art, and another art gallery and are thinking about this. It has two adjoining galleries of 30m2 each, and a back room with kitchen and toilet, and enough space to sleep in and eat in, of 40m2. The current owner is retiring, and wishes to close his gallery now - he was not there so we could not ascertain his reasons - though his artwork looked very over-priced.
